THE CITY AROUND YOU IS CHANGING FASTER THAN YOU THINK.

While most attention is focused on advances in AI and how they may change our lives, far less attention is paid to how quickly our cities are changing around us. In some places, you can already enter a subway by simply looking into a camera, or walk into a store, take what you need, and leave without interacting with any staff.

Today, these still feel like interesting facts to share. Tomorrow, they may simply be normal parts of everyday life.

And as AI continues to advance, more of the systems that move, monitor, and manage our cities will depend on it.

We are not just watching AI evolve. We are watching the world around us evolve with it.

We will definitely “live in interesting times.”
